CarpetCare Minnesota ("we," "us") operates carpetcareminnesota.com, a Minnesota-based quote-matching service that connects homeowners and businesses with independent local carpet cleaning professionals. We are not a cleaning company. Contact: quotes@carpetcareminnesota.com, Minneapolis, MN.

Information We Collect

• Quote request details you submit: name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, city, service type, approximate square footage, and anything you write in the description field.
• Technical information: IP address (used for spam and abuse prevention and rate-limiting) and basic request information.
• Email interaction data: for the business notification emails we send to cleaning professionals, we record delivery, opens, and link clicks.

How We Use and Share Your Information — Read This Part

Sharing your information with cleaning professionals is the purpose of this service. When you submit a quote request:

• Your request details (service type, approximate size, city/ZIP, and your notes — with contact details removed) are shown on a listing page and sent to independent carpet cleaning companies in our network.
• Your full contact information (name, phone, email) is provided to one or more of those companies, who pay us a fee to receive it so they can contact you with quotes. That is how this free-to-you service is funded.
• We also send your request to our own systems and service providers used to run the site: hosting (Vercel), database (Supabase), email delivery (Resend), payment processing for professionals (Stripe), and optional workflow automation (Zapier).

We do not sell your information to data brokers, and we do not share it for purposes unrelated to getting you carpet cleaning quotes.

Cookies and Advertising

Our site currently uses only the cookies and similar technologies needed for basic operation and payment processing (Stripe sets cookies during checkout). If we display advertising, third-party vendors — including Google — may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the Internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info.

Data Retention

We retain quote requests and related records for as long as needed to operate the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You may request deletion at any time (below).

Your Choices and Rights

• Access, correction, or deletion: email quotes@carpetcareminnesota.com and we will handle your request promptly. Note that professionals who already purchased your contact information maintain their own records, subject to their own policies.
• Email opt-out: business emails to cleaning professionals include a one-click unsubscribe link. Homeowners receive only transactional emails about their own request.
• Minnesota residents may have additional rights under Minnesota law; we honor reasonable requests regardless of statutory thresholds.

Children

This service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy; the effective date above will change when we do. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
